Dr. Kelsey Buford Optometrist at Vold Vision


Dr. Kelsey Buford proudly serves her community as a skilled optometrist at Vold Vision. Serving patients all across Fayetteville, AR, Dr. Buford is dedicated to the health and well-being of children, adults, and seniors alike seeking high-quality vision care. She has devoted time to pursue her passion by studying the most modern and up-to-date techniques in the field. With experience in spectacle fabrication, contact lenses, and conditions such as glaucoma, Dr. Buford has demonstrated an impressive work ethic throughout her career. She continues to set herself apart from her peers through various academic accomplishments and by showing continuous growth and improvement.


While Dr. Buford focuses on specialties such as contact lenses, vision therapy, and ocular disease, she is also skilled in child and adult primary care. She, along with her colleagues at Vold Vision, has paved the way in treatment options for glaucoma, cataracts, and other conditions causing loss of vision in individuals throughout the state of Arkansas. Dr. Buford is also proud to offer solutions for vision correction, eye injury, family eye care, and LASIK correction surgery. Her strong communication skills and knowledge of optometric equipment and technology make her an asset to the team at Vold Vision.


As an accomplished, award-winning optometrist, Dr. Buford strives for excellence in every part of her education and training. Graduating Magna Cum Laude as a Dean’s Scholar from Mount Marty College with a major in biology and minor in chemistry, Dr. Buford went on to Northeastern State University. Here, she graduated Summa Cum Laude as a Doctor of Optometry. Her research experience includes subjects such as methods of sports vision training for athletes, a fast-growing specialty area of sports medicine. She has also presented research in scleral contact lenses and how they can improve the signs and symptoms of filamentary keratitis.
