Custom Lens Replacement FAQ

Custom Lens Replacement is an outpatient procedure, only taking a few minutes to complete in the hands of our skilled surgeon. One of our trained practitioners will use eye drops and an IV to prepare you for surgery to prevent discomfort. 

The surgery takes approximately five minutes per eye for the incision, removing and replacing the lens in your eye. You’ll attend a follow-up appointment the next day to check your progress.
