1 week ago today I had the SMILE procedure done at Vold Vision. BEST. DECISION. EVER! 1 day post op I had 20/20 vision! I never thought I’d see the day where I didn’t wake up scrambling around to find my glasses just to make it to the bathroom to put in my contacts for a 12hr shift at the hospital, but here we are and I couldn’t be more thankful! <br /> The entire staff at Vold has been amazing! The front desk staff always greets me with a warm and positive attitude. John in scheduling worked with me to get pre op testing, surgery date, and post op appointments made that were perfect for me and my work schedule. Dr. Moser saw me for my pre op testing and has been following my progress during the post op period. She is incredibly knowledgeable and has answered all of my questions/concerns thus far! And last, but not least, Dr. Vold on surgery day was phenomenal! Even though the procedure itself is very quick, he continuously reassured me and kept the experience very calming and relaxing. He mentioned multiple times how excited he was for me and I cannot thank him enough for giving me this new and much improved vision! <br /> 10/10 definitely recommend Dr. Vold & his entire team! Thursday was the last day I’d have to wear contacts or glasses except for SUNGLASSES! Thank you Vold Vision! I’ve been in glasses since I was 6 or 7…that’s 28ish years! I have been putting off getting my eye surgery for years until I came to Vold Vision then I immediately knew I had come to the right place (visited from out of town). During each appointment ranging from the front desk staff, the doctors, the patient care counselor…. Everyone makes you feel at home! Each member of the staff goes above and beyond to help make you feel comfortable, answers any questions you may have, and that you are receiving the care/treatment you are paying for (plus more). I have had difficulty with far-sightedness and astigmatism so I elected to receive the SMILE laser eye surgery procedure and I was very nervous prior to doing so. John was very informative during the entire process and let me know exactly what to expect. The procedure didn’t even last 5 minutes total (yes, I’m serious). It was painless and Dr. Vold and his staff during the procedure were great. The facility and equipment were very advanced, clean, and you could tell they take pride in the services they offer. They truly go the extra mile for their patients. Immediately after the procedure, I felt a slight haziness with my vision (normal and expected) but within a few hours afterward I was able to read street signs, billboards, license plates, etc. without relying on my glasses for the first time in over a decade. The next day during my post-op appointment in less than 24 hours after my procedure they measured my eyes and I was already seeing 20/20. I HIGHLY recommend anyone to visit this clinic for any future eye consultations/procedures and would give them more than a 10/10 if I could because the surgery was truly life-changing. More

I started noticing my left eyelid dropping in 2019, but all my friends and family told me it was in my head. No one else saw it, even when I pointed it out. As time passed, I noticed the droop was progressing, which really start to devastate me because I’ve always liked my eyes. Even worse, no one else seemed to see it but me; as someone who lives with my face, I knew it what I was seeing. I’m getting married in May 2022 and have been desperately trying to find a solution for this before we take wedding pictures I will have forever. I don’t have time for surgery right now, and I had heard about a non-surgical cosmetic procedure that may fix it, but I was nervous to take a risk. I had an appointment with Dr. Sharon Napier last week and it went better than I could have ever imagined! Hanna and I looked at pictures of me from the last two years and I showed her my progression, and amazingly enough, someone finally saw what I had been talking about the last two years. I felt seen. Hanna and Dr. Napier told me about a new eye drop made for adults with acquired ptosis (exactly what I thought my diagnosis would be) and said I was a perfect candidate. We tried the drops during my appointment, and miraculously enough, 20 minutes after putting them in, my left eyelid had raised and now matched the right eyelid. I am so relieved to have found a solution that can remedy my current situation without a procedure since right now I don’t have the time for one! Both Hanna and Dr. Napier had wonderful bedside manner and were very empathetic. They gained my trust by being honest with me during my appointment, and I plan on going back when my condition has progressed and it’s time for the surgery. 6/5 stars. ⭐️ More

I just got home from my Lasik SMILE surgery. My vision is still a little foggy(normal), but I can already tell I'm seeing more clearly. I can't thank Vold Vision enough for being so professional and comforting before and during this procedure. I was very nervous going into it, but I was super surprised at how fast everything went and how good I feel, just an hour or two after it's done. His list of first procedures performed in the country is lengthy. Dr. Vold is skilled at an amazing array of surgical procedures to treat a multitude of eye issues. As a physician, myself, I have high expectations of the physicians I see, and the doctors I recommend to my family, friends and patients. Dr. Vold far exceeds my expectations. I had been told by my optometrist and an opthomologist that performed cataract surgery on me, that there was nothing that could be done. Thanks to Google, I self diagnosed Adult Strabismus and found Dr. Napier by searching for Strabismus specialist. We had our first appointment on April 27 and she performed the surgery yesterday, May 13. Twenty four hours later my vision is near perfect. I am not seeing double, tv is very clear, depth perception is back where it should be and I am able to walk without running into objects. The results are so much better than I ever expected. Dr. Napier is absolutely fantastic as well as Hannah and April. On a scale of 1-5, I give them a 6!! More

I has a Clear Lens Exchange procedure and would recommend it to anyone who is eligible. I have no vision issues now, no contacts, no glasses, and see as well as I ever did with contacts. Vold vision is a great place. They take time to answer questions,concerns. I Just had LASEK vision surgery done about week ago an the results were absolutely amazing. After about 2 or 3 days I was seeing better than I have been seeing in a long time. My vision at night time has dramatically improved for driving at night. I began to have double vision about a year ago. I am pretty upbeat but started to get really sad. I used to dance and enjoy the space around me but now I had trouble even walking around the room or down stairs. then I was referred to Dr. Napier. she operated on my eyes and I could immediately see better. my eyes were working together again!!! I've had glasses since I was in first grade, so after having to depend on glasses/contacts for everything in my daily life for the last 24 or so years, I finally decided to take the leap and schedule a consultation. Best service you can have when answering your questions that range from financing or just what to expect. From consultation to surgery and then to recovery, everything the staff at Vold told me that I would experience is exactly word for word. Since I was qualified for PRK or LasEK, my recovery was a little longer than some, but I do not regret it for one minute having it done. I'm typing this with 20/15 vision (Better than Perfect 20/20), for someone that had a negative 6 prescription and a astigmatism in each eye, I would have been fine with 20/20. After having glasses since 2012 Vold Vision gave me my sight back! I cheered and rodeoed in college and having to wear glasses all the time made it very difficult. Everyone and everything was amazing! From the time Daniel made his appointment to his post op, everyone was friendly, super helpful, and confident. The facility is beautiful. And today for the first time since first grade, Daniel can see 20/20 without glasses. He said his experience has been “life changing!” More

I had the Visian ICL surgery since I was not a candidate for LASIK (thin corneas). My eyes are also too sensitive for contacts and eye lubricating drops. My eye doctor practically said he doesn't know what else to suggest as I was prescribed the most sensitive lenses already. I'm really happy with my vision. It's been a life-changing surgery that has greatly improved my life. I would suggest anyone eligible get it, since you don't lose any of your cornea with this procedure.... Wait times aren't too bad. I went to the Fayetteville clinic. The most I have waited is 11 minutes or so. All of the staff are SUPER friendly. The most nicest staff I have ever interacted with. If dessert was a person, it would be everyone here. You don't need to be an athelete or beauty queen to get this surgery. With glasses, so many small things hindered my daily life. My job is a lot more pleasant now without my glasses! I can move quickly between -14F and then to hot areas, traveling is no longer a nuisance, and I can be so much more active in my life. I'm way more physically active without glasses or contacts! If you had a New year's resolution to lose weight, consider getting LASIK or any of the other procedures. It's great having 20/20 vision in 2020 😉 More

We took our 7 month old daughter in for her free checkup and it was a great experience. They really knew how to handle her as an infant. She loved Dr. Hendricks and vice versa. I'm so thankful for the team at Vold Vision!! I opted to have the SMILE procedure to reduce long-term dryness that can occur with Lasik. I am often on-the-go and dryness has slowed me down for too long with contacts. I was amazed at how painless the process is and how quickly the recovery went! The technology they use allows for a safe, confident experience. The preliminary appointments were thorough and the operation went quickly. It's been so incredible to wake up and see,... to not put contacts into dry, tired eyes and it's dramatically improved my night vision. There's no guarantee that it will reduce halos or stretched lights but it certainly did for me! I had reached the point where I would have to get a hotel if a non-local business meeting ended late and avoided being the driver after dark - that change itself has given me so much more freedom and flexibility! My son is 24 and was born with glaucoma. He had surgeries on both eyes when he was 3 1/2 and never had any issues until a year ago. We had shunt surgery and went through 7 different eye drops and his pressures never went down instead they were gradually climbing. We heard about Dr. Vold and went for a visit from Maryland. Dr. Bold does lots of glaucoma research, perfects new surgeries and fights for FDA approval. He has 25+ experience in ophthalmology! He scheduled a Visco 360. 3 months later, my son’s pressures are back down to normal. After 4 different doctors telling us there wasn’t much we could do, Dr. Vold helped us with this state of the art surgery. We loved Dr. Vold’s staff and his surgery center staff. It’s quick and easy having a doctors visit and surgery in one place. We are very pleased! More

If you have the least concern about your eye doctor, you need to check out Dr. Vold Vision, He is the the kindest, most concerned eye specialist you are gonna talk with. Your problem is his problem, until he comes up with a treatment. Dont like the fact that doctors don't take enough time with you, not a problem with Dr Vold. Im guessing he will stay and talk as long as you need. Pretty awesome eye doctor More

LASIK Patient - August 21st 2018 I wanted to give some honest insight into my procedure. Hopefully this will help anyone looking into getting LASIK done. I wanted to find a place that was both reputable and not a bargain procedure. Because lets be honest, a 500 dollar eye job will most likely be a terrible 500 dollar eye job. In the month of August there was a special for 1000 dollars off the procedure. This cost me around 3500 dollars. By the time I added the prescribed eye... drops (with the discount pharmacy card) 1 valium, 6 months of vitamins, and 3 packs of Refresh Artificial Tears Over The Counter eye drops. I was around 3,650 total. On August 21st I had the procedure done, very simple. I went into a room, I took my valium and then proceeded to have about 4 drops put into each eye. (I dont remember the exact number of drops, but I think 4 was pretty close) This took about 45 minutes or so. I was then brought into a room and I laid on a table. The table would spin me from one machine to another. Im not joking when I say this. The entire procedure took about 1 minute per eye, 30 seconds per machine. As soon as I got up from the table I could see without glasses. Something I haven't been able to say since the 3rd grade. I was brought into a dark room and given an eye exam, a face shield, and an appointment was made for the next morning. I went home, I fell asleep for about 6 hours, I woke up ate dinner, put some drops in and went back to bed. The next morning I had my follow up appointment and was cleared back to work and to drive. Pro's: Follow-ups are key. Be sure to go to all of your follow up appointments. I went from 20/400 to 20/20. Vold Vision was very thorough in the pre-op testing. As it was explained to me, they dont want to operate on anyone that isn't a good candidate. So they have to check for cornea depth and other things to ensure there are no complications during surgery. I can now wear cheap sunglasses! Seriously, who knew you could buy a pair for 5 dollars? Con's: I wasn't able to really look at a computer screen very long for a few weeks. (especially the first week). I would eventually follow the 20/20 rule. 20 minutes of screen time followed by 20 seconds of looking at something else. I would then pop in some artificial tears eye drops. This has since gone away and I have no issues. Overall, I am impressed with the quality of care that came from Vold Vision. I never knew the procedure could be so affordable and something I would ever be able to do. I no longer have to wear glasses to the beach or pool or worry about it raining outside and not seeing. I feel free. I feel....normal. Thank you to Dr. Vold and his team for helping me feel like a better me. More

Tonight I went for the After Hours Lasik Event and I must admit, I left feeling completely in the know. They made sure to show the different procedures and explained everything so well. Lasik is something I have always been interested in and after tonight I am completely sold!! They also made sure to answer and address any and all questions or concerns and were very honest. They made sure to make us feel comfortable in their office. The best part was that everyone had a smile on their face and was so friendly. Dr. Cox was amazing!! I had a VERY painful and large abrasion on my cornea. They got me right in the day we called. Took me straight back to a room when I got there and they saw how much pain I was in. As someone who is very squeamish when it comes to eye issues, Dr. Cox made the whole process as comfortable as possible and did everything he could to get my eye healing very quickly! He answered all our questions and made us feel very informed when we left. We were very impressed with everything. Thank you, Dr. Cox and Vold Vision!!! More
