Dr. Annie Avilez is pleased to be part of the Vold Vision team in Northwest Arkansas as an optometrist.

Meet Dr. Annie Avilez

Dr. Avilez provides primary eye care to our patients with superb and thorough treatment and research. With her extensive knowledge and experience, patients feel safe knowing they are receiving exceptional care for their vision. As a member of our Clinical Research team, Dr. Avilez has assisted in clinical studies that allow Vold Vision to continue to offer the latest and most effective technology and treatments. 

In her free time, Dr. Avilez loves to go kayaking, biking, and camping in Northwest Arkansas’ scenic outdoors. Family time is cherished both outside and indoors, including watching movies and playing games.

Dr. Avilez is a valued member of our research department at Vold Vision. Dr. Avilez provides valuable insight into our clinical trials, allowing our patients the opportunity for revolutionary procedures and pharmaceutical therapy they would not have access to anywhere else. 

Dr. Avilez also enjoys working with our vision correction patients, counseling on candidacy and the most effective options to treat their vision. She is familiar with all current and advancing vision correction options available since, here at Vold Vision, we offer more options than anyone in the entire state of Arkansas.

Dr. Avilez earned her undergraduate degree at John Brown University in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. After completing her undergraduate, Dr. Avilez earned her Doctor of Optometry (OD) from the University of Missouri – St. Louis College of Optometry. Further expanding her knowledge and experience, Dr. Avilez worked as an Optometric Technician at Antoine Eye Care in Missouri while she attended UMSLCOO.
