WHY WE ?? WHAT WE DO!

31-year-old Steffani was 20/80 in one eye and 20/100 in the other when we first welcomed her into our Vold Vision clinic. Her cataracts were so dense, it was hard to see past them. She shared with Dr. Vold that it was at the age of 17 when her journey with her vision first began, and she learned she had congenital cataracts. Steffani spent the next 14 years believing that one day she would lose her eyesight. She shared, “I felt defeated just waiting on the day everything went dark. I didn’t think I would be able to see my kids graduate or their weddings.” Today, we are happy to report that Steffani is 20/20 in one of her eyes and 20/30 in the other. She can see colors more vividly and people’s faces clearly.
